Michelin-star chef Davide Oldani opens resto in BGC
Another international Michelin-star chef opened a food venture in the Philippines.
Renowned Michelin-star chef Davide Oldani recently opened his concept restaurant called FOO’D by Davide Oldani. This is Oldani’s first food venture outside of Milan, Philippine Star reported.
Chef Oldani is globally known for his culinary prowess and has honed his skills and his palate under some of the most renowned chefs in Italy, including chef Michel Roux Jr., chef Alain Ducasse, pastry chef Pierre Hermé, and mentor Gualtiero Marchesi, the first chef in Italy to receive three stars from Michelin.
“My Cucina Pop comes from the desire to blend the essential with the well-made, to create something good that is accessible, to combine tradition with innovation. I am convinced that the greatness of Italian cuisine lies not only in the variety and flavors, but also in its openness to continuous re-interpretatio”, he told Philippine Star.
FOO’D is located at Shangri-La at the Fort in Taguig City.
