Genius way to get your animals involved in holiday meal preps
There are two things the internet is simply crazy about – animals and contraptions so it comes as no surprise that this “invention” to get your pets involved in the preparation of your holiday meals is getting a ton of views.
On the account of Joseph’s Machines, he shares an “ingenious” way to get his dog to do some exercise while helping his master prepare the holiday turkey.
The first step is to attach a bone at the end of an axe that is perfectly set up to cut up the vegetables that will go into the turkey. There’s also a platform that will allow the dog to jump up to get the bone as an incentive.
Once the veggies are done, they are catapulted to the waiting bird. Melting butter needs no pan because Joseph only needed a sealed ziplock bag and two sticks of butter and placed it underneath his resting dog. Viola! Butter melted in minutes.
The final step involves extreme laziness and attaching a harness on the dog. Once the right temperature is reached, a bag of treats is opened at the other side of the kitchen and the dog is compelled to pull the oven door open.
At the end, a perfectly prepared turkey. Make sure though that the dog doesn’t get first dibs on it while you’re basking in success and showing it off. (ANGEL ONG)
