Netizens share horror stories about Wagging Tails Café

While horror threads are growing in popularity on Twitter, the stories are even more horrendous when it happens in real life and it happens right before your eyes.

Such was the alleged case of a customer of Wagging Tails Café, a dog café along Maginhawa Street in Quezon City wherein she shared her experience in being harassed as well as witnessing how the animals are being abused and manhandled by the staff. The thread was reposted on Facebook by user Meg Bana.

According to the customer, she felt that the establishment was unsafe for women when the staff initially tried to flirt with her by complimenting her on her looks, and persisting on it despite her obvious disinterest. As they were seated, she said that she and her companion noticed that the animals were fearful of the staff members and it quickly came to light that the animals were being “forced” to mingle with the customers and were manhandled when they do not follow instructions.

The thread was responded to by other customers who witnessed the abuse and also shared their experience in being harassed by the staff. One even shared that she overheard the staff ranking the customers based on beauty and figure. Another even posted a short video of a dog being dragged by the staff to take a picture.
Hopefully, the management investigates on these complaint to make Wagging Tails an establishment that is both safe for their customers and their animals alike. (ANGEL ONG)
