Pizza might be the better breakfast option compared to cereals
While pizza has been vilified as a culprit in most unhealthy diets, it turns out that it is actually healthier than most breakfast cereals, an expert nutritionist is saying.
According to nutrition expert and health adviser Chelsey Amer, most breakfast cereals available on the market are very low on nutritional value but very high on sugar.
In an interview with the Daily Meal, Amer said that if you compare this to pizza, which is rich in protein because of its meat ingredients, more fat and less sugar to keep people energized throughout the day, the fast food staple is the better option.
Amer does not go as far as saying that it is the healthiest breakfast choice. However, it might not deserve all of the flak its getting for being what it is. (ANGEL ONG)
