Forget politicians, Jollibee is directing traffic, y’all
The term busy as a bee can be used to describe a person who is always doing something and in the case of the nation’s favorite bee, it couldn’t be more fitting.
Top Gear magazine’s editor in chief Rafael Subido recently shared a snap of Jollibee as he was directing traffic in a private parking lot across his office building and the motorists seem to be enjoying the public service with no questions asked.
In his Top Gear article, Subido consulted the MMDA if Jollibee’s traffic direction is legal and the MMDA said that while Mandaluyong is not their jurisdiction, the mascot can’t be charged with violating the law if it happens in a private parking lot or if the traffic management of the area in charge raises no objections.
Perhaps, if Jollibee directs traffic in other areas, there will be less road rage incidents? What do you think? (ANGEL ONG)
