Nestle announces global release of Starbucks coffee capsules, new product line worldwide
Nestle will be making a new range of Starbucks coffee products available worldwide, and fans need to watch out for 24 new additions to the line up including whole bean, roast, and ground.
Starbucks will also be launching coffee capsules using the same technology as Nescafe’s Nespresso and Dolce Gusto so fans can literally get their Starbucks fix at home when this becomes available.
This new product range is the result of the partnership of giants Nestle and Starbucks which started back in August, last year. The agreement also gives Nestle the rights to market Starbucks’ Consumer Packaged Coffee and Tea products worldwide.
“We are very pleased to be able to provide our premium high-quality Starbucks coffees to customers at home across the world’s most popular single-serve platforms, the Nespresso and Nescafé Dolce Gusto systems,” said John Culver, group president, Starbucks International, Channel Development and Global Coffee and Tea, in the company’s press release. “Today’s announcement further extends the global reach of Starbucks brand as we expand into new channels as part of a global coffee alliance with Nestlé.” (ANGEL ONG)
