NFA moves Bacolod office to Bago City
The National Food Authority (NFA) said the NFA Council, the highest policy making body of the state-run grains agency, has approved the transfer of the NFA Provincial Office from Bacolod City to Bago City.
NFA didn’t say the reason for the said move but said “the transfer will be done as soon as the new office building is completed”.
Negros Occidental Governor Alfredo Marañon, who formally requested for the relocation of the NFA Provincial Office to Bago City, said the provincial government has allocated P50 million for the construction of the new NFA office building and grains silos.
The new NFA Provincial Office and buying station will be located at the Rice Processing Complex owned by the Provincial Government and supported by the Department of Agriculture.
