Farmers from Thailand mountain village zip lines their produce for delivery
Most farmers who live in remote villages are plagued with problems of transportation all over the world. Not only is transporting the goods costly but they are also time consuming.
Innovative farmers in Thailand have come up with a brilliant way to transport their produce quickly with a bit of creativity and cooperation.
In a video uploaded on Facebook, it was revealed that farmers in a mountain village deliver their produce to a makeshift zipline station powered by a motor. The baskets are attached to the contraption and is sent to the other side nearer the road where another farmer waits and takes the produce.
The farmers all work together to use the device and their system seems to work quite well to provide a convenient way for them to send their goods to the market without having to lug the heavy produce down the mountain on their backs. (ANGEL ONG)
