Father sells banana bread to raise P1.6 million for baby’s liver transplant
A father will stop at nothing to ensure the well being of his child. This is particularly true for a dad struggling to make ends meet by selling banana cake on the street so that he can fund his baby’s much needed liver transplant.
The touching story of this amazing story of love was shared by netizen Jenny Sumalpong who saw the father and Baby Aqui by the street selling the banana cake. Near the cakes was a handmade poster of Baby Aqui and a plea from the family to help buy the bread to fund the operation.
The father and child are from Calamba and the netizen also included their bank account details so that interested donors may directly deposit their desired amount to help gather the funds. It is amazing to see the lengths that a family would go through to raise the required funds in an honorable way instead of just asking for the money. This has also melted the hearts and netizens who flocked to the comments section to show their support.
Hopefully, the family will get more sales and also more help to speed up the fund raising to support Baby Aqui’s operation soon. (ANGEL ONG)
