ABS-CBN expands to food and beverage industry
The Kapamilya Network seems like it is not just putting their eggs in a single basket as the company seeks to diversify its business to the food and beverage industry as well.
Columnist Vic Agustin shared in his Money Go Round column that the network wants to explore investments in restaurants, coffee shops, and refreshment parlors that centers on the healthy and affordable niche.
The network is already ready to lay it out via The Chosen Bun which initially targets its own employees as its first customer base.
The network is actually looking for qualified personnel to fill key positions in its NCR operations. Based on its career listing, it described The Chosen Bun as a wholly owned subsidiary of ABS-CBN which seeks to deliver on the Kapamilya brand of service and excellence to its customers.
While its a stretch from most of its investments, it does make sense from a trendsetting standpoint, given the amount of influencers and celebrities that the network has to boost this new venture. We’ll see. (ANGEL ONG)
