Blogger teaches how to refuse plastics and straws in different languages

Are you trying to start a zero waste lifestyle but are finding it hard to refuse straws and plastics when you travel because of the language barrier? Worry not because a travel blogger has done the research for you. All you have to do is visit her post and memorize the words when you visit the country and viola. No to straws. No single use plastics.

Travel blogger Eco Conscious Traveller posted her guide to refusing straws and plastics by including translations and context on her post and included popular languages like French, Spanish, Japanese, Portugese, German, Italian, and other European languages. It was originally posted less than a year ago but it has been shared quite a number of times recently because of the bid against single use plastics littering the oceans.

The post comes quite handy for travellers who want to maintain the zero waste lifestyle they are adopting in their home country for when they go for short of extended visits abroad. Once zero waste becomes a habit, all the rest follows after all. (ANGEL ONG)
