Jon Favreau, Roy Choi create a Pepper Potts inspired dish but Gwyneth steals the (Chef) show
So, if you’re a superfan of Marvel, you might want to check out Iron Man director Jon Favreau and Chef Roy Choi’s Netflix series, The Chef Show because not only do these two serve up delicious dishes with their guests, they have a lot of fun doing it too.
One of the opening episodes of the show actually features stars from the Iron Man movies, in particular, Gwyneth Paltrow and Robert Downey Jr. himself, who appears with his with MCU protégé, Tom Holland aka Spider-man.
Anyway, Jon Favreau thought it would be really cool to come up with a dish inspired by Gwyneth’s character Pepper Potts, and so they made the dish, named after the first lady of Marvel. Actually, it’s an improvised version of the Jamaican Pepper Pot soup which sounds similar to Pepper Potts. You get it. Because Gwyneth does not eat meat, Jon and Roy had fun modifying the ingredients to suit her tastes.
Gwyneth also helped out in prepping the dish but the real fun begins when she casually forgets that she appeared in Spider-man Homecoming. All this while, she thought she was filming for an Avengers movie. LOL. The dish was a success, though, in case you were wondering. (ANGEL ONG)
