Your favorite Johnsonville sausage soon to be made in PH
Johnsonville International, LLC’s super premium sausage will soon be manufactured in the Philippines as a result of the joint venture between the American sausage maker and Frabelle Fishing Corp., one of the country’s leading hotdog manufacturers.
Johnsonville CEO Nick Meriggioli said in a Manila Bulletin report that there is a possibility of the company building a manufacturing facility in the Philippines for the Johnsonville premium sausage alone.
Right now, Frabelle has already manufacturing facilities here located in Caloocan, Cavite and Pampanga.
To recall, Johnsonville already received the green light from the Philippine Competition Commission (PCC) for its planned acquisition of Frabelle Corp.
Post-acquisition, company officials are confident that there are a lot of business opportunities in the Philippines with a lot of hotdog and sausage loving Filipinos.
