Dairy Queen may have just started a marijuana cake trend after this viral mishap
You have to give the Dairy Queen extra credit for trying. After receiving an order for an ice cream cake with a Moana theme that they mistook for as marijuana-inspired, they really did go the extra mile to make it work.
A post by 25-year old Kensli Taylor David recently went viral after she shared how the ice cream specialist bungled up the order that her mom made for a Disney Moana cake for her birthday. Because her mom was from Georgia and had an accent, the staff seemed to have trouble understanding the order but took it down anyway.
When it was delivered, it brandished the design of a marijuana leaf and a pony with a weed tattoo, and red eyes because it was too high from smoking. To give Dairy Queen some credit though, the cake was delicious, and it seemed to have inspired a lot of netizens to specifically order their marijuana cake for fun.
Silver lining, guys. Silver lining. Happy birthday, Kensli! What a memorable birthday surprise it must have been. (ANGEL ONG)
