ANGEL ONG

Local farm blogger Farmer John recently posted a viral snap of a mango tree that continues to grow long after it has been cut down. The touching photo of the plant’s resilience seemed to spark joy among netizens.

The tree, cut down to its stump is shown as it grows a new mango seedling and it even sprouted a mango fruit even though it was not yet full grown. Netizens shared the snap 18,000 times and provided their own takeaways from the experience of the mango tree.

One netizen commented:  Kahit sinabit lang ung bunga or hindi. ang mensahe inihahatid satin ng larawan ay maging matatag tayo ano mang delubyong dumating sa buhay natin.

Another said: The message is, even if we did something bad to nature. Nature gives us something good that we doesn’t deserved. Us people should have that realization, we are the caretakers of Mother Earth, not the destroyer.

Another user said that the feat was nothing short of a miracle. That TREE needs to be CANONIZED by the POPE!

Whatever the reason, its always inspiring to witness nature’s miracles.
