Supermarkets now accommodating zero waste options for meat products
Good news for Zero Waste Shoppers! In a bid to minimize the use of plastics, Robinsons Supermarkets are already accommodating shoppers who bring their own containers with package free sections for meat.
Zero waste netizen Nikki Patricia Burgos recently took a snap of the section wherein customers can get what they need and put them inside their own containers minimizing plastic and food waste because customers can take only what they want and prices will depend on the final weight of the purchase.
Some netizens said that this section has been available for a while now but other groceries and supermarkets are also adopting this strategy.
