Firm aims to solve issues in sugar industry with modern equipment
Delgado Brothers (Delbros) Group, one of the country’s pioneers in agriculture and logistics innovation, said it wants to address some of the issues the local sugar industry are facing through its modern technology.
Through its sugarcane solutions member company, Cane Express (CaneX), the company said it wants to help the Philippine government address labor shortage, lack of infrastructure, and delay in farm mechanization in the local sugar industry.
Right now, CaneX said it is making more modern agrimachinery designed for Filipino field conditions and climate available to local players.
“CaneX is working with sugar planters, associations and mills to support them in modernizing their equipment, practices, and processes. The company has also introduced cutting-edge modern and reliable harvesters, loaders and new delivery models,” the company said.
Aside from the new equipment, CaneX builds the capacity of local sugar to cope with the adverse effects of climate change by providing more information on the latest farming techniques that will give them a more efficient yield and harvest.
The company also supports mills and planters by deliver their products to the market.
