Nature group reports pangolin-eating Indonesian who posted meal online

The environmental group page Pinoy Naturalist recently tagged the DENR to alert them to a possible crime against endangered species that was posted on the account of an Indonesian national reportedly living in Makati.

Based on the screengrab by the group from the post of a certain Elaine Hu H’Sze, the woman was cooking a pangolin, which is considered a critically endangered species.

The group called the attention of wildlife agencies to investigate the matter in the proper forum. The trade and consumption of endangered species is considered a crime in most countries including the Philippines.
