Burger King serves epic clapback to netizen questioning hiring of PWDs
Burger King Indonesia recently responded to a netizen questioning their program on hiring people with disabilities as part of their crew.
A post by Twitter user Lucas posted: “Should i respect burger king to do this or should i said is this a marketing strategic sh*t to get our empathy?”
As Twitter users responded negatively to his rant against the fastfood joint, Lucas accused netizens of being ”salty” about his question, to which many responded that he was the one who was salty for raising the question at all.
It seems that Burger King wanted to clear the air once and for all by answering Lucas directly. Burger King’s official Indonesian account clarified that the program was intended to promote equal opportunities for all types of workers, and not a ply to elicit sympathy as the netizen claimed.
“It’s not a marketing strategic sh*t. It’s just an equal right for everyone to have a decent job thing. Thanks for the shout out tho! “ and that, ladies and gentleman is how this salty gent got served.
It’s not a marketing strategic shit. It’s just an equal right for everyone to have a decent job thing. Thanks for the shout out tho! 😬 https://t.co/7uOl6hcNBs
