Manolo Quezon calls out Starbucks planner promo for being anti consumer
Writer and TV host Manuel L. Quezon III recently called out Starbucks’ Rule No. 8 for being anti consumer. Rule No. 8, which was only added this year for the coffee franchise’s planner availment promo, limits the customers use of sticker booklets to claim their much coveted Starbucks Planner.
Under the rule, a customer can only combine stickers from two booklets to qualify for the planner.
“You get stickers for purchases and not always will you have same booklets. Stickers should be stickers and redeemed any combination since paid for!” he said in his Twitter thread.

He further claimed that Rule No.8 was only added this year as a loophole to make it harder for patrons to collect the required number of stickers to claim their planners.
