LANDBANK introduces new lending programs for agribusiness
State-owned Land Bank of the Philippines (LANDBANK) has introduced new lending programs for agribusiness.
“All these new lending facilities, along with the other existing programs, will help address the specific requirements of the various players in the agriculture sector,” said LANDBANK President and CEO Cecilia C. Borromeo.
The new programs recently launched by the Bank includes the Sulong
Saka Program promoting high value crops production.
It also launched the Sustainable Aquaculture Lending Program (SALP) to finance projects within the value chain of fishery, mariculture and aquaculture.
The other new lending program is the Greenhouse Farming System Financing Program, which aims to help farmers, cooperatives and agri-entrepreneurs shift to modern farming by adopting the greenhouse farming technology.
