Chooks to Go pledges steady delivery of food to students stuck in UPLB forms amid Luzon-wide ECQ
Chooks to Go has assured that dormers stuck inside UPLB that they will not go hungry while stranded inside the dorms.
Chooks to Go President Ronald Mascariñas said that they will deliver 60 packs of chicken to the dormers which will be distributed in 10 dorms within the campus for lunch and dinner.
“As an alumnus of UPLB, the university is immensely close to my heart, an institution whom I owe everything. This is Chooks’ way of supporting our Iskolar ng Bayan—the future heroes of food security and agriculture for our nation,” he said.
Some 400 students are currently stranded in UPLB dorms after the declaration of the Luzon wide Enhanced Community Quarantine which rendered them unable to go home to their families.
Mascariñas expressed hope that the students will pay forward the good deed to future Iskos and Iskas who will also need help one day. (ANGEL ONG)
