DA continues issuance of food lane pass
The Department of Agriculture (DA) is continuously issuing food lane pass for food producers, traders, and manufacturers who would want to get through the express lane in quarantine checkpoints.
In a statement, DA said food producers, manufacturers, traders and importers have started lining up at the DA Central Office in Quezon City as DA steps-up the processing of application for Foodlane Accreditation.
“This level-up move aims to maintain the unhampered and unimpeded delivery of food and other agricultural commodities in the middle of the enforcement of the enhanced community quarantine in the whole of Luzon,” the agency said.
DA said that right now, its Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Service (AMAS) “remains in full force amidst the month-long quarantine to manage the accreditation process and ensure the regular monitoring of supplies of stocks at various points of the supply chain”.
