Mandaluyong distributes veggies from Nueva Ecija to boost citizens’ health amid COVID-19 fears
Mandaluyong City is really stepping up its game in this time of crisis.
Apart from the announcement of Mayor Marcy Teodoro that the city has purchased its own equipment to establish its own COVID-19 testing laboratory, it is also ensuring the provision of healthy food for its residents.
According to a snap from ANC, the city is distributing vegetable supplies to residents to help them strengthen their immunity against the COVID-19 in addition to the food packs filled with grocery items to sustain them throughout the Luzon wide enhanced community quarantine.
The vegetables were bought from Nueva Ecija farmers who also benefitted from the Mandaluyong local government’s move.
Kudos, Mandaluyong! Stay safe and healthy! (ANGEL ONG)
