Manila Water to implement water service interruption
As much as 84,203 households, commercial and business establishments serviced by Manila Water Company Inc. will experience service interruption from 11pm tonight until 6am the following day.
This is, according to the company, “to better prepare for the coming summer months and help ensure that water supply remains available to customers”.
To be specific, Manila Water will be undertaking preventive maintenance works at its San Juan Pumping Station.
“This will result to temporary water service interruption affecting almost 337,000 population in 84,203 households, commercial and business establishments in 123 barangays in Makati City, Mandaluyong City, San Juan City, and the City of Manila beginning Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at 11:00 PM until 6:00 AM, Wednesday, March 4, 2020,” Manila Water said.
Manila Water is advising residents of these areas to store enough water to supply their needs during the interruption period.
