‘Most indigent residents’ to get a taste of Manila House, Hizon’s Catering cooking
Manila House, in tandem with Hizon’s Catering, will be mobilizing its kitchen teams to provide cooked meals to the “most indigent residents” of Barangay Pitogo and Barangay Southside.
Manila House said most of the people they will feed “are daily wage earners, who are now without work or food”.
“Charlene Escaler and Lizzie Zobel are coordinating with the barangays and spearheading delivery and logistic,” the company said in a statement.
To be specific, the food distribution, which is called Project Food, aims to deliver 1,200 packed meals a day to the aforementioned areas at a cost of P80 per meal.
The group is now accepting donations through:
Mariana Beatriz Zobel de Ayala
Charlene or Juan Miguel Escaler
