SMC produces nutribun for COVID-19 for vulnerable communities
To cope with the challenges of COVID-19, San Miguel Food Corporation has announced that it is bringing back the nutribun, the popular bread that rose to fame during the Marcos administration which were distributed to school students for the government’s nutrition and feeding program in schools.
“It’s back! We’ve started producing our version of nutribun, a nutritous, energy-packed bread that we will start donating to charitable groups and vulnerable communities. This is on top of the food donations we continue to deliver to local government units, hospitals, and other frontliners in the fight against the COVID-19 virus.,” SMC announced on its Facebook page.
The move is the latest in SMC’s recent efforts to help the government in augmenting supplies needed by the public amid the Luzon wide Enhanced Community Quarantine(ANGEL ONG)
