Coca Cola PH distributes PPEs, beverages to hospitals, LGUs
Beverage company Coca Cola Philippines (Coke) has distributed personal protective equipment (PPEs) and beverages to several hospitals and local government units (LGUs) as part of its on-going COVID-19 efforts.
This is following the company’s announcement to re-channel P150 million of its advertising budget toward COVID- 19 relief efforts, a report in Manila Bulletin showed.
Aside from LGUs, Coke also delivered some relief goods to vulnerable communities in Metro Manila.
In a statement, the company said that one of the top priorities of Coke is to respond to the urgent demand for PPEs to help equip critical healthcare workers with gear ensuring their safety and welfare,as they lead the nation’s fight against COVID-19.
More than 46,000 medical workers in 305 medical institutions have so far been provided with PPEs by Coke.
