Manila Water customers in Rizal to experience 15-hours water interruption

Manila Water Company Inc. said that some of its customers in Rizal province will experience water interruption of about 15 hours due to a line upgrade.

In a statement, the company said that to ensure reliability of water supply in its influence area, it will be upgrading its transmission network in Binangonan, Rizal.

This will result to temporary water service interruption affecting around 154,000 population in 30,755 households, commercial and business establishments in 19 barangays in Taytay, Angono and Binangonan in Rizal Province, beginning Thursday, June 25, 2020 at 5:00 PM until 8:00 AM, Friday, June 26, 2020.

Affected barangays are Muzon, San Juan, San Isidro, San Roque, Sto. Nino, San Vicente, Kalayaan, San Pedro, Poblacion Ibaba, Poblacion Itaas, Bagumbayan, Pag-asa, Tayuman, San Carlos, Tagpos, Bilibiran, Pantok, Palangoy, and Darangan.

Manila Water is advising residents of the said barangays to store enough water to supply their needs during the interruption period.
