Twin graduates Jollibee and McDo gets graduation treat from McDonald’s
It wasn’t too long ago that the interesting names of twin graduates Jollibee and McDonald became viral after a family friend posted his well wishes for their high school graduation.
The twins who were named for two of the biggest fastfood franchises in the Philippines, were reportedly named as such by their parents wanted to give their kids an edge and name recall. The names were also intended to bring good vibes to those who will hear them.
The novelty was not lost on McDonald’s as they quickly sent a graduation treat for the twins after they brought good cheer to netizens on social media.
“Magkaribal man sa pangalan, nagkakaisa naman sa pangarap! Congratulations to the twins Jollibee and Mcdonald Pangindian for recently finishing senior high school! Pinatunayan niyo na #WeGraduateAsOne . Dahil love namin kayo, may treat kami para sa inyong pamilya! #LoveKoTo ” they posted on their Facebook page.
