Native weavers create coffee and tea filters from bamboo

Organic coffee/tea filter anyone?

A Davao based company is producing and marketing reusable coffee/tea filters made from tunkayan, a type of bamboo that grows along  the riverside and headwaters of Malita, Davao Occidental.

The filters were handwoven by Tagakolu weavers and are available for P499 each. Its definitely a good investment for enjoying your morning cup of coffee or tea. Its also eco-friendly. (ANGEL ONG)
